Yesterday afternoon we spent a couple of hours with the amazing people over at Bark Avenue Montreal. They were kind enough to let us use their space to photograph not only their pitbulls but the dogs of anyone who wanted to stop by in an effort draw attention to the horrible Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) that is currently trying to be passed in Montreal.

It is extremely frustrating knowing that a breed once so loved and cherished is now languishing in shelters, is feared without reason, and is making headlines in the news for all the wrong reasons. While only a small gesture, we hope that the images we captured yesterday as well as the ones we will shoot in the coming days and weeks will help in some way promote a positive image of these beautiful dogs.

Every little bit of positive attention helps, and that is why we are asking you to not only like and share this post, but to check out the following link. On July 11th the Chateaguay community will be holding a rally against Breed Specific Legislation (BSL). If you live in the area, please attend. Even if you don't own a pitbull, all animal lovers are welcome!

With outreach and education, it is be possible to restore the image and rehabilitate the pitbulls reputation as one of mankind’s best friends!

This little guy here is called Runkle. We had the pleasure of meeting him yesterday. He is adorable and unlike what you see in the news, this is the face of a pitbull. He is loved. He is happy. He is not dangerous.

More photos from yesterdays shoot are to come so stay tuned to our social media feeds (linked below). As well, if you would like to know when we will be holding our next pitbull photoshoot, please follow us on Facebook at:
