Last night the skies were almost perfectly clear and so I decided to head down to the south shore to capture a couple of landscape photos of the (almost old) Champlain Bridge. As you can see in the distance the construction of the new bridge is well underway.
However, the end result isn't exactly what I had in mind. The city doesn’t shine through as much as I wanted. Still, I absolutely love the look of the Saint Lawrence River and the lights covering the bridge. I feel the photos are really moody and I like the matte black finish of the images.
And be sure to check back here in 2018 for the first photos of the new Champlain Bridge, which is being designed by Danish architect Poul Ove Jensen.
