Montreal Wedding Photography
A couple of weeks ago I had the honour of photographing Mike and Stephanie's wedding day. Guests gathered on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for the ceremony and reception, which took place at the Côte-des-Neiges Armoury in Montreal. It was an intimate affair, with close family and friends there to celebrate the love between two people who were clearly meant for one another.
When I first arrived I photographed Mike and his groomsmen relaxing before the first look.
Then came the first look. This is always a fun photograph to take on a wedding day. First looks can be truly magical, filled with raw emotion.
We then had our couples portrait session at Mount Royal's Beaver Lake. It's a great place for portraits.
I like to try and utilize the environment to make sure the photos represent the location as it was on the wedding day. We played in the puddles left from the previous nights rain, and we also incorporate the famous Beaver Lake Pavilion into our portrait session.
We then returned to the armoury for the ceremony and more portraits.
The night wrapped up with cake and of course the first dance.
However, before we put a cap on the evening, we had time for a late night kiss.
