Every year around the holiday's Place Ville Marie in Montreal sets up it’s own giant illuminated Christmas tree, and this year is no different.

However, when I visited the location the other night there was a bunch of construction going on, and so my vantage points were very limited for capturing a beautiful image. Therefore, I was forced to think outside the box!

Here is the final image. I decided to simply let the lights do the talking and let everything else fade to black. It's a very different look than most photographs I have seen shot from this location, which I think is a good thing :-)
