Yesterday I shared a very special photo with you that was taken inside the abandoned Calvin Presbyterian Church in St-Anicet. It is perhaps the best favourite photograph that I've taken. I truly feel it captures the essence of the location.
Today I would like to share a few more photos with you that were taken during my time there. I hope you like them, and if you do, please share this post with your friends and family. In doing so, at least for a brief moment, all the people who lay at rest there will be on the conciseness of a few people for the first time in a long time. The remains of the church and cemetery have been left to decay for over 150 years.
If you want to know more about the the remains of the former Godmanchester village (which is better known as Rivière-La Guerre), I invite you to go read yesterdays post. In the post I talk a little bit about the locations history and my time there.
St-Anicet is full of places for those interested in urban exploration, and I will definitely be going back. Everything there is like a time capsule from way back in the 1800's.
